Aloha,
In the indigenous
traditions of North America’s Ojibwa-Chippewa people, the coldest wintry
season of the year was considered “Earth Renewal.” This was a time in
which people living close to the land, instinctively drew inward, slowing
down the pace of activities to restore themselves. After a year of fervent
sowing and reaping, they wisely set aside some time to recharge their
collective psycho-spiritual batteries.
We
too, (however wisely) recently sought refuge from the dizzying demands
of life by traveling to an Idyllic “out island” in the Bahamas beautifully
named Eleuthera.
In 1932, travel writer Rosita Forbes dubbed Eleuthera as “mostly sea,
always summer.” We certainly found it to live up to that description.
Our
holiday was indeed freeing for both body and soul and now Kathryn and
I are back to work, moving forward on the consuming tasks of planning,
coordinating and confirming the new year of 2007’s upcoming tours and
special events. We are looking forward to a very special, first ever,
weekend spiritual seminar slated for September 2007! This “surprise”
event will potentially be held at a very beautiful, world renowned resort
here in Asheville NC. (details coming soon)
In
the design department, kudos go out to the very talented Betty Aubut
of Look Up
and Create for continually improving the functionality and aesthetic
appeal of CharleyCastex.com. We are very blessed to have her aboard
the Castex Consultations International team!
Most
of you have heard “in the wind” that we have plans to move to the Hawaiian
Islands. The rumors are true—however we have no definite or even tentative
date set for our transition to Hawaii. Our best intentions are to move
sometime in 2007. We project making frequent return visits to Asheville,
NC which will provide me with the wonderful blessing of working “in
person” with my loyal North and South Carolina clientele. We anticipate
returning for weeks at a time in order to “hang out” and have some fun
with family and friends as well!
New
features will soon be added to our website in the weeks to come – so
check back. We plan to add some wonderful, downloadable radio interviews,
as well as selected archived media bits for those who are keenly interested
in my career in service.
Enjoy
the gift of this life to the maximum…I hope to see you all at our events
during this year.
Grace
Always, Charley
